Great list! As an actress (albeit, NOT a famous one), another thing that I'd like to add is the lack of long-term relationships in show biz. This is often why Hollywood actors end up getting divorced... they become really close to one another during a project , and then must move on to something else. It's not like a normal business, where one can develop a years-long bond with co-workers. In the acting business, it's pretty much every man for himself.

I have seen SOME but very few child celeb success stories (ie. Drew Barrymore...who had some rough patches but came out okay... Raven Simone and Keisha Knighy Pullium). But I agree with this post very much. In most cases, kids never turn out okay. And to me, I'd much rather have anonymous wealth than be a celeb. I barely would want my family to know I have money. People come out of the woodwork with "sob stories" and great "investments" they wanna send your way. Please, have soooo many seats. Okay, now my rant is over lol

Celebrity is in the eyes of the beholder... so maybe your are famous!

I don't have famous friends, but I through work have met a lot of famous people - we even had a reality TV show filmed in my office. My feelings of fame and celebrity have changed so much as a result. These people are real people who as you mentioned lose that ability to just be real. I remember once getting off a plane and there was a famous athlete on board. People were knocking over other people to catch up to him and get his autograph. I felt so bad for him. I know that this is part of his "job" but he totally got accosted in the airport and had to remain there while practically all of the plane took pictures with him...
